Thin Simple Knuckle Duster - An old very simple design knuckle duster.

Although a very simple design knuckle duster / brass knuckles it is still reasonably comfortable and reasonably safe to use too if they fit well, the reason I say if they fit well is because round finger holes tend not to fit very well as opposed to oval finger holes, round finger holes need to fit the two middle fingers to be able to be safe to use, however saying that there is a way to hold a knuckle duster that doesn't fit well so they are safe to use.
The design is copied from some of the old traditional designs but changed a bit.
The size for this Knuckle Duster is medium hands, but may fit large hands as well, features round finger holes and a flat palm rest and round striking surfaces.

Weight is low due it to its thickness and being made of aluminium.

Features no makers marks but was made by the same person who makes most of my other knuckle dusters, and was made around 2005 .

Overall a good old knuckle duster, Simple yet effective.

Dimensions - 115mm wide, 70mm high, 6mm thick, Finger holes are 26mm round.

Old Red Knuckle Duster

Old Red Knuckle Duster - An old slightly unusual design red painted knuckle duster.
Although a slightly unusual design knuckle duster / brass knuckles it is very basic and is copied from one of the all time most traditional designs there is but just changed a bit.
Painted using red nail varnish and a clear coat of varnish, it stayed on the metal reasonably well but I have still not found a decent reasonably priced commercial paint that will not come of off the aluminium when carried in the pocket.

The size for this Knuckle Duster is medium hands, but may fit large hands as well, features round finger holes and a curved palm rest and round striking surfaces.
Weight is low due it to its thickness and being made of aluminium.
Features no makers marks but was made by the same person who makes most of my other knuckle dusters, and was made around 2002 or before.

Overall a good old knuckle duster and unusual design.

Dimensions - 115mm wide, 70mm high, 6mm thick, Finger holes are 26mm wide and 32mm high.

Large Size Knuckle Duster / Brass Knuckles

Large Size Knuckle Duster - A very large version of a standard spiked knuckle duster, made for people with big hands.
A classic design knuckle duster / brass knuckles, Nothing special , just very big, these particular ones where made around 2006,
They can be very comfortable (if they fit your hands).

The size for this Knuckle Duster is large hands, but will fit people with smaller hands (medium, but not small hands), the second picture shows the large size knuckle duster on top of a standard size knuckle duster, and the fourth picture shows the size of the gaps between my fingers and the knuckle duster, standard size knuckle dusters only have a small gap of about 3mm - 4mm.
Features large oval finger holes and a curved palm rest and spikes.
Weight is average due it to its thickness and being made of aluminium.
Features No makers marks.
Overall a great classic design, and great for people with big hands/fingers.
Dimensions - 125mm wide, 90mm high, 12mm thick, Finger holes are 28mm wide and 36mm high approx, spikes are approx 10mm.

Flat Top Knuckle Duster

Flat Top Knuckle Duster - A traditional style knuckle duster with flat top striking surfaces.
The design was copied from a widely available commercial knuckle duster that can be bought all over the world.
It is quite a basic design, made to fit small to medium size hands, with four flat striking surfaces over each finger hole, each finger hole is oval and the palm rest is curved for better comfort.

The size of hands/fingers this Knuckle Duster is made for is medium hands, and would not fit large hands. Features oval finger holes and a curved palm rest.

Weight is average due it to its thickness and being made of aluminium.
Features no makers marks but was made by the same person who makes most of my other knuckle dusters.

Overall a good simple design that works well and looks reasonably good although could be finished better, which isn't as big thing, just a case of more sanding.

Dimensions - 110mm wide, 80mm high, 10mm thick, Finger holes are 24mm wide and 30mm high approx.

Two Identical Deaths Head Type Knuckle Dusters

                                    

Two Identical Deaths Head Type Knuckle Dusters -  Two old knuckle dusters featuring the classic "Deaths Head" style finger holes.
Both models are virtually the same, however one is solid 6mm aluminum and the other is 3 sections of 3mm aluminium that is glued and bolted together.
These double finger style finger hole knuckle dusters can be very comfortable, a lot more so than a standard four finger hole version, this is because the 2 finger posts are missing and these are usually what make some ill fitting knuckle duster uncomfortable and not safe to use.
An unusual design, features double Deaths head style finger holes and a curved palm rest and four spikes each.
The size is suited to Small to Medium hands/fingers, but could fit larger size hands/fingers.

Weight is low due to them being made of aluminium,

Neither feature any makers marks but were made by the person who makes most of my other knuckle dusters - these where made at around 2000 - 2005 as far as I can remember

Overall a good unusual  knuckle duster, Light and comfortable, Look great and are safe to use.

Bottle Opener Knuckle Duster

Bottle Opener Knuckle Duster - A two finger bottle opener knuckle Duster designed by myself about 6 years ago.
Made from Aluminium, features only one large double finger hole that supports two fingers, it also has 3 bottle openers and a lanyard hole, Made to be held using either the index and middle finger or middle and ring finger in the hole.
Although they look cool and will open bottles one problem with this type of model is that they have to fit the wearers hands/fingers perfectly or they are very uncomfortable.
The size is suited to medium hands/fingers only and would not fit any other size fingers.
Features a double size finger hole and a curved  palm rest, weight is low due the size and it being aluminium.

Features No makers marks, but does feature the word BUD (Budweiser)

Overall a good multi purpose knuckle duster if it fits well, looks pretty cool, is very easy to carry and conceal and would work great for self defense (if the right size).

Dimensions - 80mm high, 60mm wide, 6mm thick, Finger hole is 56mm wide and 30mm high approx.

WeaponCollector's Home Made Wrist Crossbow

WeaponCollector's Wrist Crossbow - A full working wrist crossbow, also known as a Arm or Forearm Mounted Crossbow, Wrist Bow or Armbow.
Similar to the one used in Mad Max 2 : The Road Warrior, Used by the character Wez.
This is a fully working model, single shot only, shoots standard 6" pistols bolts and the draw weight is 50lbs
This is the Mark 1 Wrist Crossbow, this version features no cocking mechanism and therefore has to be removed to be cocked, I have tried cocking it with my left hand using two fingers and its just too hard.

Mark 2 version (coming soon) will have a cocking mechanism for the left hand meaning the crossbow won't need to be taken off to be cocked.
Version 1 would have had the cocking mechanism, but because the mechanism wasn't on the original designs I drew up I couldn't fit it on to the crossbow.
It has a reasonably light trigger pull and can be fire by either tilting your hand down while holding the handle at the front or by using the back trigger, (the back trigger was designed as a aid to shooting if the trigger pull was very hard, however it is not, so its not really needed).
Accuracy is low due to the fact you can't really aim it, you just point and shoot, you may be able to become proficient at shooting it after a lot of practice though.
Features include double straps to hold it to your arm, aluminium arm guard, double trigger, 50lb prod which is easily removed.
It took about 14hrs to make that was spread across two working days, it is mainly made from wood and aluminium and some screws and was made using very basic tool with the only power tool being a drill.

Dimensions : Length of arm guard - 10.5" ,  Full length - 13" ,  Arm guard width - 4.5" , Prod width - 17" , Height - 5.5" , Draw Length is 5".
