A.C.A.B Brass Knuckles / Knuckle Dusters

Solid Aluminium Knuckle dusters featuring A.C.A.B on the flat striking surfaces, (acab stands for - All Cops Are Bastards - Which I Don't actually agree with, some are great people, so don't be offended)
These are again a one off (in this thickness and size of spike), they have a unique style palm rest which is designed a bit like a knife handle, they can only be held one way due to the design, each striking surface above the fingers protrudes and has a letter on it.
They feature the letters A.C.A.B, U.K, AND WC-12, they were made in 2012.
They have a curved palm rest and oval finger holes that get smaller to fit the fingers better, due to this they can only be held one way.
This version of the A.C.A.B knuckle has a larger skull crusher pommel spike made for using in a hammer blow type strike, this means you can either use the flat striking surface or the spike depending on how you use it.

Dimensions - 130mm long (including spike :15mm), 70mm high and 14mm thick.

Overall a very comfortable knuckle duster to hold, looks great and can be used in two different ways, one of my current favourites.

1840's Vampire Hunting Kit

Strange old Vampire Hunting kit found in London on the 12/8/2012 while I was clearing an old mansion of ruined funiture  and other stuff. while looking in the basement I found this box and asked the new owner if I could have it and he said yes, I took it home, gave the outside a good clean and to my surprise this is what I found was in the box later.

Features a solid Black Oak case with ebony cross inlaid with ivory, an Oak crucifix/stake with silver inlaid cross, Oak stake, Hammer for stake, pliers for removing a vampires teeth, various documents explaining how to use the items within the case, also has Iron nails for inserting into either the head or heart of a vampire, two knives, candle, matches, a now non working .70 cal musket, ammo for the musket, garlic in jar/bottle, Holy water bottle, gun powder bottle, small Bible, metal mirror and a crow bar for opening coffins.

A vampire hunter or vampire slayer is a character in folklore and fiction who specializes in finding and destroying vampires, and sometimes other supernatural creatures.
A vampire hunter is usually described as having extensive knowledge of vampires and other monstrous creatures, including their powers and weaknesses, and uses this knowledge to effectively combat them. In many works, vampire hunters are simply humans with more than average knowledge about the occult, while in others they are themselves supernatural beings, having superhuman abilities.
A well known and influential vampire hunter is Professor Abraham Van Helsing, a character in Bram Stoker's 1897 horror novel, Dracula.

This is not really a genuine Vampire Hunting, and I did not find it either, I'm not trying to con people just entertain, many people reading this and watching my video on it either believe its a real kit, or that I think it is a real kit.
I made the kit about 6 months ago, 90% of the items were made by myself including the musket which is made from some plywood, an old lead pipe and some aluminium, I hope you still enjoyed the kit.

How to make a Flaming Skull Knuckle Duster

Making a Flaming Skull Knuckle Duster / Brass Knuckles - Although this is NOT a tutorial, rather a series of pictures I acquired of the "Making Of" a knuckle duster, it does show the process that is used to make one.
I requested these pictures because I thought it would be interesting to show others the process.

First the materials are sourced, in this case a solid 25mm Aluminium plate or sheet, the design is then drawn onto the metal using either a marker pen or scratched onto the metal using an awl.
The maker then drills holes in and around the drawn on knuckle duster shape, then using a hammer and flat head screwdriver or chisel the maker hammers between the drill holes to punch out the rough shape.
Then using various files the metal is filed and shaped until it resembles the rough shape of the knuckle duster, at this stage the edges are still very rough, a small round file is used to round over the edges and make it comfortable.
All that is required now is for the maker to sand the edges smooth using various sandpapers going from rough to smooth, it is then rubbed over with wire wool and then polished with Brasso.

As you can see from the many entries in this blog this technique produces very nice custom made Brass Knuckles / Knuckle Dusters, using this method it takes the maker about 4-12 hours to produce one Knuckle Duster, however each design may take a longer or shorter time depending the design, materials and thickness. some materials can range from 6mm - 25mm, the materials that can be used range from Metals - Aluminium, Brass, Steel, Copper, to materials like Wood and Plastics, I have seen ones made from Oak, Walnut, Beech, and plywood, as well as Acrylic plastic and Chopping Board Plastic, even Stone and Antler can be used.

The Skull Knuckle Duster / Brass Knuckles, a large skull shaped knuckle duster, designed by myself, and was originally a one off at the time but is now 1 of 3, a 100% original design and one of only three ever made (so far). one is owned by myself, one by a friend in the north of England and the other is owned by another friend of mine and knuckle duster collector, who has even more than I do, (he may have the largest collection there is).
Currently as mentioned there are now three skulls that have been produced. one of which is located in the U.S.A. and the other in the south and north of England
I had been personally trying to design a good Skull knuckle duster for years and one day got my inspiration from a very unlikely source, that being the t.v series South Park, after watching the episode i went on to finish my design as it is now.
As mentioned above, the design is that of a skull, and can be held either way - top of skull or teeth as palm rest.
Is made from solid Aluminium, and features two oblong finger holes in the style of the of "deaths head" knuckle duster, the detail on the knuckle duster is cut into the metal, featured in the bottom picture is the original design and the knuckle duster itself in a very rough state.
Weight is average due its size and it being made of Aluminium.
Features several  makers marks - WC-12 - maker and year made, and U.K. and .3
Overall a absolute classic design which in this case has been ever so slightly refined to make it more symmetrical, very attractive and one of my all time favorites and certainly my best design ever, makes a great display piece and even better talking point and could be used if need be.

Dimensions - 125mm wide, 125mm high, 12mm thick, Finger holes are 45mm wide and 30mm high.

One Finger Brass Knuckles - Knuckle Duster

      

Standard Size One Finger Aluminium Knuckle Duster - A small one finger knuckle duster that supports three fingers, Made from aluminium, with a large flat palm rest and thickness of approximately 12mm's making these knuckle dusters a very comfortable item to wear, these are one of the safest one finger style knuckle dusters you can use, they sit in the hand very well, and lock in place if held correctly.

The knuckle duster features a triangular style striking surface.
The size is suited to Medium hands/fingers, but will fit smaller hands.
Features one oval style finger hole but supports three fingers and has a flat palm rest,
Weight is pretty low for its size, due it being made Aluminum,

Dimensions - 70mm wide, 80mm high, 12mm thick, Finger hole is 22mm wide x 29mm high approx.

Features various makers marks - 32 (My age at the time) U.K and WC-12

Overall I would say this is a great little knuckle duster, and finished lovely too
These are also great concealable self defense weapons, due it its size it could be hidden in many places.
